ITOCHU transformed its FOODATA dashboard by integrating Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Studio, powered by Microsoft Fabric for data aggregation and cleansing, to automatically generate evidence-based product proposals. They implemented a dedicated proof-of-concept through a cross-company task force and a partnership with Headwaters, assembling SQL-driven data and leveraging retrieval-augmented generation for comprehensive analysis. This integration streamlines product planning by reducing manual data analysis and drafting, enabling managers to quickly evaluate multiple proposal drafts.
